Magic Mirror halloween project ...so good it could be a very long drunken night!
This is a cleverly crafted piece of software that if you designed a prop fascia around it (or a booth) you'll have a lot of completely "wowwwed" out munchkin visitors.
As a courtesy to their own site I must direct you via the link ..... However if you read the basics & look at the you-tube results of a few regular users you'll see why this is such a fine prop! http://www.imagineerieing.com/
The original mirror software is free to download & use, however for $15 (usd) there's a super new version of the mirror man, or available separately, a "yorick" skull , "gordo" the Halloween pumpkin, ..& frosty the snowman! (???)
A large picture frame style surround or build up a facade & block your door off, instructions on the site via the link..
use a simple voice changer to accentuate the feature, & play it sarcastically to the little horrors!
We particularly like the "no costume no candy" button that displays to cheeky so & so's we call 365'ers
(that's an idiot in idiots clothing 365 days per year trying to blag candy usually with the lame line that "it's for a little one at home" ! ...no sorry, that excuse doesn't wash ....just like them)!
If you get the occasional mob of teens who try & rush your set up the mirror is a great tool for pranking them or merely being a grouse, it's the character of the mirror after all, ..he's making you say that stuff!
Mirror mirror can be as simple as mouth movement via several keys or complicated via a software sync, however best results are typically from the keyboard, which you'll be using anyway.
Synchronised mic's have a tendency to pick up background noise or even the kids standing in front of you opening & closing your mirror mans mouth when you least expect it.
Download & run the freebie, have a play, there are seperate files for each character... my daughter loves it, now multiply that fun by the amount of visitors you get on a Halloween night & beyond!
..that's alot of happy munchkins!
